            My experience on going to the museum of the moving image was really enjoyable. It was very interesting to see all the history of film. The collections of items that they have are really unique. I saw many things they we have learned throughout the semester in media 160. The showed us the film cameras, different actors, the zoetrope devices, and much more. What I really found interesting were the interactive pieces that they had on the second floor. The images on the zoetrope device were really nice to see in person. The museum of the moving image is the only place I know that has a real zoetrope. The other exhibits were very nice to see as well. The floor with all the masks and makeup was really fascinating. To see things that you have seen on movies is a real treat when you see them up close and personal. I would have liked to spend more time on the third floor where the voice over room was but we ran out of time. The room where you can record your voice and place them in a movie was my favorite. On one of the floors they had a video game area and I wish they had more arcade games. I feel like the room can fit way more than they put out. The museum overall was very educational and fun. I plan on going back to the museum of the moving image as soon as I can.
